Description: DataBank is expanding its multi-phase power footprint at SLC and will be performing maintenance on two remote power panels in the data center. Every precaution is being taken to ensure that there is no impact to power being delivered. There is no anticipated impact to systems or services, backup and redundant power will be available for the duration of the maintenance.

Emergency: A-Feed Power Maintenance

Location: DAL01 – Dallas, Texas

Date: August 17, 2017

Duration: 30 minutes

Anticipated Impact: A Feed outage anticipated for clients.

Summary:

The purpose of this emergency maintenance event is to prepare for the replacement of PDU D within our DAL01 data center location. During the maintenance, A-Feed device power currently connected to PDU D will be de-energized from the original PDU breaker/circuit, connected to new circuit and then energize the pre-installed circuit from another PDU. Please gracefully shutdown servers prior to the maintenance window. During this maintenance facilities personnel will relocate the PDU circuits. Clients should anticipate a brief 5-10 min interruption of power during the emergency maintenance activity on the August 17, 2017 maintenance window.
