ESC120 / ESC71 / ESC21 Migration Starts Tomorrow @ 12pm
By Marc Bollinger | August 12, 2008
Beginning tomorrow @ 12pm, we will be migrating clients on ESC120, ESC71, ESC21 (in that order) to a new, state of the art hardware.
We’re currently in the process of performing major upgrades to our hardware lineup in the attempts to provide superior service and reliability.
Clients on this box will not experience any downtime as a result of the migration, however, there is a possibility of some minor issues with existing scripts you might have running. We’ll be upgrading to a newer version of PHP. After the move, if you should experience ANY problems with your website, please do not hesitate to e-mail us: support@midphase.com. We will be working dilligently around the clock to fix any potential problems that may arise.
Generally speaking, this migration will be completely seamless for the majority of clients.
How to find out which server you are on?
The best bet is to perform a reverse DNS on your domain name. I recommend this site: http://www.ipchecking.com/
Enter your domain name in the field and press “Lookup”. This will then return the “Hostname” of your domain, which is the server you are located on. (Note: This will not work if you have a static IP address).
If you’re still unsure, simply contact us: support@midphase.com and we’ll help you out!
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this migration effort. We’re doing this in order to dramatically improve the services that we offer.

General Manager
UPDATE: we’re about to switch the DNS zones of the accounts previously hosted on the server esc120.midphase.com to the new one esc156.midphase.com.If you’re using our nameservers for your domains, no changes are required from your side.
For those who don’t use our nameservers and have the domains mapped to the server IP directly, the IP address is 67.228.235.85. The old server will be online for the next two days, the time required for the DNS zone changes to be propagated.
If you have additional questions, please e-mail us: support@midphase.com
