ESC101.midphase.com - Read Only Filesystem

Due to a massive amount of disk i/o operations, this servers filesystem has forced itself into “Read Only” status. At this time, we are rebooting the machine and forcing a filesystem check. This will clear out the issue and allow us to remount the filesystem as “read/write”.Typically these operations can take several hours, although sometimes they can finish earlier. Keep an eye on this post for more information as it becomes available.
::UPDATE 1:20am CST:: We have tracked down the issue with that server to a hardware RAID array controller, we are in the process of replacing the faulty hardware and rebuilding the disk array. Again unfortunately die to the nature of the problem we do not have a conclusive ETA, however we are working as fast as possible to resolve this issue and minimize downtime.
::UPDATE 3:32am CST:: The faulty hardware has been replaced and the server is undergoing a file system check to ensure data integrity. We cannot estimate how long it will take at this point.
